Up front Happy Bones is a stark whitewashed box with room for exhibiting and retail capacity only the spray splatter wallpaper by owner-artist Jason Woodside demands to stand out. ![]() Cool art on the walls, a good selection of magazines and books and of course the best baristas and coffee. Happy Bones is a small coffee bar with a fantastic, architectural interior. On the other side of the road you’ll find The Butcher’s Daughter and two streets ahead you’ll find Two Hands and Happy Bones. The shop wasn’t even a shop originally, but rather an alley running between the neighbouring buildings. If you’re staying at The Nolitan, you’re surrounded by a few very cool spots. The footprint is therefore long and thin, and the area is split in the middle by a bespoke counter/console unit, with the customers hanging out at the front, and the coffee-making jiggery-pokery happening in the back.
